Getting to Ko Phangan

1. By Plane:

Fly to Samui Airport (USM): The closest airport with direct flights from Bangkok, Phuket, and regional hubs. Then take a ferry to Thong Sala Pier or Haad Rin Pier.

Fly to Surat Thani Airport (URT): Often cheaper but further. Then take a ferry to Thong Sala Pier.

2. By Train or Bus from Bangkok:

Train to Surat Thani: Comfortable overnight trains. Then take a ferry to Thong Sala Pier.

Bus directly to Ko Phangan.

From Ko Samui or Surat Thani to Ko Phangan:

1. Ferry from Ko Samui:

From Samui Airport: Take a taxi or shuttle to a nearby pier (Nathon, Maenam, or Bangrak).

Ferry Time: 30-45 minutes.
